Pauline Norstrom is a key part of the NetVu Ltd start up team as Managing Director and also President of its sister Company Dedicated Micros Inc; driving strategy and ongoing evolution as a differentiated video surveillance technology provider.

Building the technology value proposition through its key brands, FireVu, TransVu, NetVu Connected and Dedicated Micros are key areas of focus.

Pauline has worked in the security industry for over 15 years, holding statutory board positions since the mid 2000’s including Marketing Director, Group Director and Chief Operating Officer following various senior management roles. Overall Pauline brings over 30 years of diverse experience overall in innovation, new strategy, business management, diversification, cost base management, change management and sales and tech marketing.

In her spare time, Pauline is also the elected Non-Executive Vice Chairman of the British Security Industry Association, a position she took up in July 2014. Current attention is on educating businesses in the sector to equip them to challenge the issue of security system decisions being made on the basis of price alone and instead help them to win on the basis of quality over price.

Pauline is a Member of the IoD, is a regular public speaker and is also a member of various industry steering committees developing good and best practice and in particular cyber security awareness.

Pauline has two children and for relaxation aside from enjoying time with the family also plays classical Piano having achieved ABRSM Grade 8.

Mike Newton - NetVu CTO

Mike Newton has been a lead innovator and industry pioneer in the CCTV industry from 1984, since graduating from Manchester University with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science.

Cited in the top 20 most influential entrepreneurs of all time in a US report, he is NetVu Ltd’s creative technical force, envisioning new concepts and solutions for the security and fire detection industries. Since founding Dedicated Micros in 1982, Mike has repeatedly applied his technical and entrepreneurial skills to an ever changing market where innovation is essential to success.

Amongst Mike’s many accomplishments are bringing to market the world’s first CCTV video multiplexer, the first viable digital recorder and video server, and the only inherently secure IP video system on the market with innovative video analytics, including the detection of Fire with video cameras in environments where no other detection method is possible.

Mike is now one of the founding Directors and owners of NetVu Holdings, building on the previous the success of Dedicated Micros as its founder and owner. Over the course of his career Mike continues to gain tremendous insights and understanding of many industries that are of key importance today to NetVu including Aerospace, motorsport engineering and engine development.

In his spare time Mike established a career in motorsport where along side the RML race team he took first in the LMP2 class at Le Mans 24 Hours in both 2005 and 2006 followed by another podium at Le Mans in 2010, the year the team took the Le Mans Series LMP2 title, as well as previously in 2007. Mike continues to develop his motorsport and engineering businesses in addition to his CCTV related activities.

Chairman – NetVu Holdings Ltd and its Subsidiaries

Maghsoud is a fellow of ICAEW and a fellow of the Institute for Turnaround. He was a senior corporate finance partner in Deloitte for some twenty years until his retirement in 2008 and specialised in acquisitions, disposals and restructuring. He led many transactions over his long career with Deloitte, the most celebrated being his lead role in the purchase of Rover car manufacturing business from BMW. Maghsoud’s association with Mike dates back to the late 90s when he acted for Mike on the then part disposal of what today is the NetVu Group.

Maghsoud graduated from LSE in 1976 with a first in Econometrics and went on to complete a MSc in the same school. He enrolled for a PhD in Cambridge University but abandoned it in 1978 to join a Deloitte predecessor firm which he served for over 30 years.

Maghsoud married wife Pat in 1976 and has three children and a grandson all living in Bramhall. He likes building and engineering and in his spare time has rebuilt his home more than once.
