NetVu has confirmed it will be exhibiting at this year’s Matrix Group Event, taking place on 12th and 13th February at the Sheraton Athlone Hotel, Ireland.

CTO and Chairman Mike Newton and COO Alan Hickson will be showcasing NetVu’s Dedicated Micros security surveillance solution alongside FireVu, its specialist video-based fire detection platform, as well as its VSaaS Cloud Portal. Together, these solutions demonstrate how NetVu supports security and fire applications within a single ecosystem, underpinned by NetVu Connected – the technology that helps to simplify installation, support remote management, and maintain reliable performance across sites.

Dedicated Micros – Tried, Tested, Trusted

NetVu’s Dedicated Micros has shaped the video surveillance landscape for more than four decades and continues to be trusted where reliability and high performance are critical.
Designed for demanding, real-world environments, Dedicated Micros delivers resilient, high-availability recording built around a surveillance-specific architecture. Using coordinated viewing and synchronised multi-camera playback across recorders, it preserves full scene context during incident review and supports faster, more confident investigation in larger and more complex sites.
As part of the wider NetVu Connected ecosystem, Dedicated Micros also supports remote configuration, diagnostics and fault reporting, helping reduce maintenance overheads while improving system uptime.

FireVu – Early, Accurate Detection

FireVu, NetVu’s video-based fire detection solution, delivers early, accurate detection at the inception of fire, when Every Second Counts.
FireVu combines Visual Smoke Detection (VSD), Visual Flame Detection (VFD) and thermal analytics within a single multi-detector, enabling it to identify fire at the source rather than relying on smoke drift or rising heat. This makes it particularly effective in large, open or complex environments such as waste and recycling facilities, warehouses and industrial sites, where traditional fire detection systems can struggle.
A key advantage of FireVu is its multi-layered detection logic and immediate visual verification. This allows operators to quickly confirm genuine incidents and respond with greater confidence, while helping to reduce disruption caused by false alarms.

NetVu’s Cloud Portal – VSaaS Cloud-Based Access and Oversight

NetVu will also be demonstrating its Cloud Portal, a secure and cost-effective platform that enables customers to extend legacy, current, and future surveillance systems with cloud-based recording and management. It allows customers to adopt cloud services at their own pace, aligning operational, budget, and compliance requirements without wholesale system replacement.
Designed to support both on- and off-premise cloud recording, its VSaaS portal offers flexibility for systems of any size – from single-camera installations to large, multi-site deployments with thousands of cameras.

The Cloud Portal is designed to handle high-definition video efficiently, helping reduce bandwidth usage and storage costs without compromising on image quality. It provides a single, secure login bringing together live and recorded video access, system configuration, health monitoring, remote firmware updates, and technical support.
