The EMC Directive
The new EMC directive, 2014/30/EU, came into force on the 20th April 2016 with no transition period. The provisions within the new directive have an effect not only on manufactures, but also representatives, importers and distributors within the EU. Meeting the requirements of this directive is an essential part of the CE marking process for electronic and electrical equipment.
