FireVu Awarded Visual Flame Detection Patent No.GB2535409 in UK

The award, Patent no. GB2535409, is granted in recognition of the uniqueness of the ‘Flame detection system and method’. The patent was awarded in April this year and follows on from the grant of a US patent in March 2017 for the FireVu flame detection algorithm. Fire Safety: Innovative Solutions

NetVu is taking part in an Innovation Day at Surrey Fire Service to demonstrate its FireVu, very early visual detection system.

The event will be attended by fire service officials and key stakeholders in the fire prevention and housing sectors.

NetVu CTO Mike Newton, the inventor of the FireVu innovation, is part of the expert panel whom will field the technical questions about the innovations.

This event provides the opportunity for some practical demonstrations and discussion about how these innovations can be put into practice.
