Having graduated from Manchester University with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science in 1984, Mike Newton has gone to become a globally renowned innovator and video surveillance industry pioneer. Listed as one of the top 20 most influential entrepreneurs of all time in a US report, he is NetVu’s creative technical force, envisioning new concepts and solutions for security and fire detection. Mike consistently applies his technical and entrepreneurial skills to an evolving market where innovation is essential to success. Mike’s accomplishments are many and include bringing to market the world’s first CCTV video multiplexer, the first viable digital recorder and video server, and the only inherently secure IP flame detection video system on the market, used in environments where no other detection method is possible. Mike is now one of the founding Directors and owners of NetVu Holdings. As his career progresses, Mike continues to gain tremendous insights and understanding of many industries that are of key importance today to NetVu including Aerospace, motorsport engineering and engine development.

Pauline Norstrom

Managing Director – NetVu Ltd

Pauline Norstrom is Managing Director of NetVu Ltd and has accumulated over 15 years of experience in the security industry, holding statutory board positions since the mid 2000s including Marketing Director, Group Director and Chief Operating Officer. She is also a Member of the Institute of Directors. Her key activities involve driving the strategy and ongoing evolution of NetVu’s differentiated video surveillance technology platform and building the technology value proposition through its key brands, FireVu, TransVu, and NetVu Connected. Overall Pauline brings more than 30 years of diverse experience in innovation, new strategy, business management, diversification, cost base management, change management and sales and tech marketing. Having completed a 2-year term as the British Security Industry Association’s (BSIA) Chairperson of the Board, Pauline continues to provide advice to key Government and Industry stakeholder groups and is a regular public speaker on the subject of quality and value benefits in the sector, cyber security, and Industry best practice.
